As a coach or as a volleyball player, you must know the volleyball net height. It is essential to know the net height as your game’s rules will be affected by that.

Official Regulation Volleyball Net Height

The official regulation volleyball net heights are generally measured in the center of the nets. It will be measured in a similar way for different types of teams.

One must know that the sides of the nets can’t exceed ¾ inches than the regulation height.

There are differences between the height of men’s and women’s volleyball nets.

Men’s Volleyball Net Height

The height varies for both men and women. According to the official rules, the standard volleyball net height for indoors for men is 7 feet. It can be 7 feet or 11 ⅝  inches or 2.43 meters.

As per the official rules, only the senior citizens or older men falling in the age category of 55-70 or those above 70 are permitted to lower the nets. Other age groups cannot adjust or lower the net to achieve any certain height. The net height for disabled individuals will remain the same as follows.
